My kids are too little to know better, like filling the pool in our front yard and giving them a bath there isn't really cool. Jake kept insisting we are now white trash, but they love it. So who cares, right? Okay, maybe the neighbors....
P.S. I am so sad b/c Friday we lost our kitty Daphne. I drove Reesa to swimming lessons and as we were leaving Tiffany was in front of our van surrounded by a crowd of kids. I have no idea how she got there but took her home and Daphne was gone. I waited an hour and she never showed up. I think they both were at the pool, but by the time we could go back she was no where to be found. Daphne is just the sweetest kitty, so I'm sure someone took her home, and won't want to give her back. I keep checking for her and we hung up a missing kitty sign. Yesterday I listed to Reesa explain to Tiffany that "we lost Daphne at the pool, but not to worry, we'll get another Daphne." I feel like such a good cat mom. Plus, I really miss Daphne.
Sad, I hope you find your Daphne! Maybe one of the kids took her and his/her parents will return her to you. We lost our Daphne once, and she found her way home 6 days later! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteHey, the pool in the front yard is cool! Any thing goes these days! Reesa's swimsuit is so cute! I love the orange! Sorry, about the cat! Hope she finds her way home soon! Love you guys!
ReplyDeleteSorry about your kitty!
ReplyDeleteI love your house, it is so classic California to me! I love the colors. If letting your kids swim in pool in the front yard is redneck, we are soooo classless for doing a lot of things more questionable than that! I hope you are loving your new place, your kids are sure cuties :)
It looks like CA is treating you well. We keep telling the Kendalls we will make it out there sometime. My parents live in Gilroy. Your family picture is adorable. Hope all is well. Send me an email with your cell number and I'll give you a call. lovejoykim@yahoo.com
