So I did it. Here's my version of a Valentine's Day acorn wreath. Got the idea here, thanks LR. So easy and fun to make.
Have your kids gather a zillion acorns in my yard, bake 'em for 15 min. @ 350 to kill any bugs, hot glue them to a straw wreath. Spray paint the color of your choice (pink for V-day). It looks much better than this picture taken with my phone. I totally could have bought this at Pottery Barn.
Haha, I love that you called me LR in your blog. :) That wreath looks awesome! And yours is SO much cooler since it's made with acorns from your very own yard. Too bad we can't craft together! I'm in major project mode.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the idea!!! I have tons of acorns. Great project this fall.
ReplyDeleteYou are so cute! I want to copy, but then I will have to gather all the acorns myself. :) So creative!
ReplyDeleteLove it! Don't have any trees in my yard- or acorns!! Maybe I can buy some? Super cute. BTW- I asked your mom to order me those cute v-day heart decorations you painted. I need more V-day decor.! Love ya!
